Variable width collapsible thermoblock 50х50, EPS120

The collapsible block has the same connecting grooves as the row or edge blocks. Because of this, different blocks can be combined during construction to achieve the best effect.

This design, thanks to the dynamism of the block, allows you to disassemble it into separate elements, which can achieve significant savings in space (2.5 times) when transporting. This is not unimportant when moving over long distances and saves significant resources.

It consists of two expanded polystyrene walls (50 mm each) connected with each other by adjustable polypropylene (plastic) lintels.

It is used as the basic building block in low-rise and high-rise construction. Thanks to its unique design, namely, a small cross-section of lintels, 100% monolithicity of the wall is achieved, which makes it more durable.

An adjustable lintel gives the possibility of changing the thickness of the load-bearing (concrete) part of the wall within the range from 100 mm to 450 mm. This greatly extends the scope of application of the collapsible block.

The use of collapsible blocks increases the fire resistance class of the structure. This allows (after agreement with the relevant authorities) to increase the height of buildings erected up to 25 m.

EPS120 collapsible block, 200x1000x250 mm. (Concrete thickness 100 mm.)

Most often used for internal non-load-bearing walls, where the load on the walls is low. It can also be used to build load-bearing walls of single-storey buildings. Concrete consumption is 0.1 cu.m./sq.m.

EPS120 collapsible block, 250x1000x250 mm. (The thickness of concrete is 150 mm.)

Used as the basic building block in low-rise and high-rise construction.

In the construction of using a row and end blocks, it is advisable to use collapsible unit when installing the last row in the floor and the formation of the monolithic belt, when installing blocks above the window and door openings, when installing the first row, etc.

In a word, collapsible block should be combined with conventional blocks and use it where necessary to strengthen the construction. Consumption of concrete 0.15 cubic meters / sq.m.

EPS120 collapsible block, 300x1000x250 mm. (Concrete thickness 200 mm.)

Most often used when constructing the ground floors, bowls of swimming pools, columns. You can also use to build walls, if the project provides that the thickness of the load-bearing (concrete) of the wall should be 200 mm. Consumption of concrete is 0.2 cubic meters per sq.m.

EPS120 collapsible block, 350x1000x250 mm. (The thickness of concrete is 250 mm.)

Used for assembling the ground floors, bowls of swimming pools, columns, foundations. The consumption of concrete 0.25 cu.m. / sq.m.

EPS120 collapsible block, 400h1000h250 mm. (The thickness of concrete is 300 mm.)

Used for installation of columns and foundations. Concrete consumption 0.3 cu.m. / sq.m.

What is a detachable block with variable width? +
It is a building thermoblock made of polystyrene, sized 250×1000 mm, with adjustable thickness ranging from 100 to 300 mm to adapt to different structural requirements.
Why is the variable width of the block necessary? +
The variable width allows for flexible adjustment of wall thickness according to insulation, strength, and building type requirements.
What are the main advantages of such a block? +
Flexibility in design, the ability to optimize insulation, quick installation, and adaptation to different architectural solutions.
How is the block with variable width installed? +
The blocks are installed using a tongue-and-groove system, the width is adjusted on-site during installation, followed by reinforcement and concreting.
What types of construction is this block suitable for? +
It is used in residential, commercial, and industrial construction with varying insulation and strength requirements.
Is additional insulation required for walls made of this block? +
It depends on the chosen block thickness, but due to the polystyrene, additional insulation is often not needed.
What is the service life of this block? +
The material retains its properties for over 30-50 years.
Is the material safe for health? +
Yes, polystyrene is non-toxic, does not support combustion, and does not emit harmful substances.
Is this block suitable for cold climates? +
Yes, the technology is adapted for effective use in cold climatic conditions.
Can this block be used for building reconstruction? +
Yes, thanks to the adjustable width, the block is suitable for various types of work, including reconstruction.
