Ukraine opened Central Europe's largest solar power plant

Austrian company Activ Solar has completed construction of the last fourth stage of the 80-megawatt Okhotnikovo Solar Park, the largest in Central and Eastern Europe, in Crimea, the company said in a press release.

Activ Solar was the developer of the project.

Okhotnikovo is the world's fourth largest photovoltaic park in terms of installed capacity after Sarnia (Canada), Montalto di Castro (Italy) and Finsterwalde (Germany), according to public records.
